Brandon Nicolas "He Sees With the Eyes of an Eagle"
Brandon is my 10 year old son who has helped me periodically with making and painting faces for Voodoo dolls . I thought it only fitting to provide a page for him showcasing his talent for creating awesome mystical art, just like his sister, Sarah. When I find myself getting in a rut with creating faces, I will often ask Brandon to make some for me. His use of color and child perspective gives me fresh, new ideas for my art. Sometimes his ideas are rough and I refine them; sometimes, I will leave them as they are and let the character of the doll speak for itself. Sometimes he knows who he is creating and other times he is not sure and lets the face create itself. Still other times, I know exactly who it is that has been created.
