Butterfly fairies have butterfly wings attached to their bodies and they can be male or female. They are often mistaken for Monarch butterflies. Created in the traditional New Orleans conjure art style, these fairy art dolls are created out of natural stick forms and Spanish moss. These lovely creatures have butterfly wings attached to their bodies and their bodies are wrapped in fine fancy yarns. Their hair is made of numerous strands of seed beads and threads, and their faces are hand sculpted out of polymer clay and painted.
