About me:
I 'm an Artist, a stay at home Mama of 2 sweet boys, with a very bohemian sensibility. I've been accused of being a hippie. I'm a treehugger. I adore animals,especially horses and dogs. I used to train horses professionally. I'm from New Orleans, went to junior high and high school in good old Gulfport, Mississippi. I now live in Madison. I don't miss the south much. Except New Orleans. I am politically opinionated. Well, ok, I'm opinionated in general. I do not like Bush, especially as a political leader, I'm sure he's a swell guy otherwise (RIGHT). It's time to rid the U.S. of its executive dictatorial triumphvirate. I respect and agree with anything Bill Moyers has to say. And Jon Stewart. My world revolves around love for my family. My husband, Troy and our children, they are light beings. Becoming a mother and meeting my husband saved my life, actually it made me save my own as I was a little wild for a bit. Growing up in the bullshit home I came from will do that to you. I'm totally sentimental, a romantic, and an idealist. I'm a very passionate anti-abuse advocate as well. I work to bring awareness to the issues of incest and sexual abuse.This happened to me so I want to help others heal from it. Transformation and Release. I love going to museums, concerts, especially Widespread Panic shows, camping, hiking, anything outside. I'm a runner, avid and obsessive reader. I do copious amounts of painting and yoga. Vinyasa flow baby. I love discovering new music, new tea, new coffees, hanging out with my husband, who I still get weak in the knees over. I love playing blocks with my kids. We paint, we do puzzles, we dance, we drink cider and tea, we go on hikes, we nap. Being a mom is amazing. We love going to Lazy Jane's on Willy Street and having mochas and waffles. Makin' babies and learning life and loving deep. I love being pregnant! Can't wait to make more babies. Motherhood has and continues to gift me with a cosmic sort of awareness, a depth of will and tenacity that I never knew possible, and a l o v e like nothing I have ever felt. My husband is my best friend, and we just so happen to feel more passionate by the day. We met in the beautiful Door County, we enjoy deep philosophical conversations and watching good movies. Creating a family is my biggest inspiration and what I feel most sated doing. We have great friends, a great family, and live in a great liberal city, yeehaw! Oh yeah, I'm also a scrabble nut. Just FYI.
